How to Modify Your E-mail Settings
To Use
The NJIT Mail Relay

• If you are a Staff or Faculty member using the ADM.NJIT.EDU mail server and Outlook to read/send mail with ADM then you DO NOT need to change anything. Your mail program is already configured properly.

• If you are using a Mail Program from your PC in the Residence Hall, you should be set to use the dedicated Residence Hall mail relay server. For the Residence Hall users only, Click Here.

• If you are using a Mail Program from your PC, Notebook, or a Media Service Smart Cart, on the Mobile Network, you should be set to use the dedicated Residence Hall mail relay server. For the Mobile Network users only, Click Here.

• If you are running Sendmail on a Unix system, Click Here

• If you are using the Netscape Mail Program, you must configure your client for SMTP Relay.
• For General Information on SMTP Replay, Click Here.
• If you are on campus to configure SMTP Relay in Netscape, Click Here.
• If you are off campus, Click Here.

• If you are using Outlook Express to Read/Send mail, and you are NOT using ADM, Click Here
